Ciao Simone,
For the Italian espresso.. Just give up! American coffee is ok, Italian espresso is non-existing in the USA.
I can give you one or two advices based on my own experience:
1) go visit Seattle Underground Tour. A little expensive, but sooo funny!
2) Discovery Park (bus 33/34) is a great natural place
3) Alki beach. Very relaxing and a great view of downtown!
4) Univ. district and Gas Works Park on the Union lake (bus 71/72 if I remember correctly). The univ village is a great place to meet young people (and girls.. ;) ) and also for shopping and food!

Saluti da Trento!
PS if you have time.. go also visit MS :P It's impressive.. but don't tell your boss!
