Livemocha, social language learning
I’m using Livemocha.com to learn French (and, soon enough, German).
The concept is easy: language lessons on one side, real users on the other. The community isn’t big, but seems nice and friendly.
If you’re on Livemocha, add me as a friend! I’m Simone Brunozzi, of course!

Hi Simone,
Glad to hear you’re enjoying Livemocha. You’ve definitely got the concept right — connecting native language speakers to one another to really take language learning to the next level.
Our community is made up of over 400,000 users from all over the world, so there are lots of opportunities to meet people who can help you out!
Thanks for the mention!

I have also visited livemocha.com which I was impressed with but I did a little research and found another awesome language resource site http://www.edufire.com. They have a very active forum community, language flash cards, educational language videos and live tutoring via video chat with native speakers. As with livemocha.com you can network with other language enthusiasts, make new friends and simply learn some new languages! I’m currently learning Spanish and Italian and I’m loving it!!
Check it out http://www.edufire.com
Thanks, Steph, I’ll check it out. Nice thing that they also have videos :-)

Just signed up and ready to learn!
Yah, I think the site is great and I’m glad I could help you both find a new language resource! Have fun learning a new language.
